Homo Generativus between authentic thinking and algorithmic intelligence: the challenges of pedagogy and the future of education. International Summit on Artificial Intelligence in Schools

The report by Emiliana Mannese, Full Professor of General and Social Pedagogy at the University of Salerno and Chair holder of theUNESCO chairGenerative Pedagogy and Educational Systems to Tackle Inequality, entitled "Homo Generativusbetween authentic thinking and algorithmic intelligence: the challenges of pedagogy and the future of education,“ is part of the scientific program of the second edition of the InternationalSummit on Artificial Intelligencein Schools promoted by the Ministry of Education and Merit as part of the traveling campus ”Scuola Futura" (School of the Future). NextGen AI is the first international summit dedicated to exploring the potential and implications of Artificial Intelligence for schools. Teachers and students from around the world meet with experts, institutions, and businesses to discuss the applications of AI in education systems. The AI Summit Napoli initiative follows on from the first edition of NextGen AI held in Milan in January 2025.
