Generative Pedagogy and Thinking Communities Festival – Second Edition

Promoted and organised by the UNESCO Chair “Generative Pedagogy and Educational Systems to Tackle Inequality” (holder: Prof. Emiliana Mannese) and theObservatory on Educational Processes and Territorial Analysisof the Department of Human Sciences, Philosophy and Education (DISUFF), theFestivalis a transdisciplinary space for dialogue between science, art, culture, and the territory, with the aim of promoting generative thinking and the co-construction of Thinking Communities (Violante, Mannese, Buttafuoco, 2021). The event is based on the complex epistemology of Generative Pedagogy, understood as a science of horizons, capable of reading and interpreting the complexity of the Human in its dynamic-plastic relationship with the World-System (Mannese, 2011, 2016, 2019, 2021, 2023). At the centre of the reflection is the O.Ge.S.O. (Generative Guidance and Organisational Systems) Methodological Protocol, already validated in numerous local, national, and international projects. The focus of this edition is Generative Talent, in its interconnection with the categories of desire, future, and life project. The Festival includes the Spring School “Pedagogy and Generative Guidance. Building Thinking Communities. TALENT:Genius Lociof the Soul,” directed by Prof. Maria Grazia Lombardi and aimed at young researchers, doctoral students, research fellows, and experts in the field. The School aims to promote the exchange of knowledge, the formation of collaborative networks, and the development of new perspectives in the field of Generative Guidance. The Festival hosts Italian and international scholars, institutional representatives, schools, and industry experts, who contribute to enriching the scientific and cultural programme.

The Festival hosts international academic and scientific dialogues with speakers from Italian and foreign universities, including the University of Florence, the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, the University of Macerata, Sorbonne University, the Network of Italian UNESCO Chairs, and the prestigious institutionLa Biennale di Venezia– Biennale Educational.  With the patronage of theEducational and Social Research Doctoral School, and in collaboration with the Municipality ofSant'Angelo dei Lombardi(AV) and the “Città Alta Irpinia” Internal Area, the Festival confirms its role as a place of convergence for research, arts, and community, and as an educational alliance between universities, schools, and territories, to imagine and build possible educational futures together.
