UNESCO Chair - Generative Pedagogy and Educational System to Tackle Inequality

Third mission and educational futures: between educational innovations, inclusion, and territorial impacts

The project involves the University's 17 departments, each contributing its wealth of knowledge and expertise through ongoing dialogue with the student community, civil society, and local areas. The format offers an opportunity to promoteknowledge exchangewith relevant stakeholders, direct interaction, and cross-fertilisation with the social and business fabric, creating interconnections and new spaces for innovation.

The promotion of knowledge is the central theme of the “Third Mission Days,” demonstrating the drive for growth, development, and innovation that the University and its departments seek to transfer to communities and local areas. The individual departmental events will showcase the actions and commitment of the UNISA departments in technology transfer, social impact, dialogue, and active involvement with the local area, highlighting the facilities and services offered and hosting prominent testimonials and alumni.
