Abstract
The II Edition of the International Festival“Generative Pedagogy and Knowledge-Sharing Communities. Talent: Genius Loci of the Soul”is conceived as a transdisciplinary space for dialogue among science, art, culture, and territory. Promoted by the UNESCO Chair, the Festival aims to consolidate the paradigm of Generative Pedagogy and foster the co-construction of Knowledge-Sharing Communities.The event forms part of the UNESCO Chair’s scientific programme and is grounded in the transdisciplinary epistemology of Generative Pedagogy, understood as a science capable of interpreting the Human Being in its dynamic-plastic relationship with the System-World.
Theoretical context
The theoretical framework is based on the paradigm ofGenerative Pedagogy and System-World(Mannese, 2011–2023) and on theMethodological Protocol O.Ge.S.O. (Generative Guidance and Organizational Systems), already validated in local, national, and international projects.The thematic focus of the 2025 edition isGenerative Talent, understood as the interconnection between desire, future, and life project, within a perspective of personal and collective responsibility.
Why
The Festival responds to the need to:
- integrate academic education, advanced research, and public engagement;
- tackle educational and territorial inequalities;
- strengthen the bond between the University and the community;
- promote pedagogical and cultural innovation within educational systems.
Purpose
- To consolidate the international dissemination of the Generative Pedagogy paradigm.
- To activate Knowledge-Sharing Communities oriented toward responsible knowledge production.
- To promote empowering educational models within territorial contexts.
Goals
- To foster international scientific dialogue on Generative Talent.
- To strengthen collaborative networks among universities, institutions, and stakeholders.
- To provide advanced training opportunities through the Spring School.
- To promote the scientific and cultural dissemination of the event.
- To generate formative impact on students, early-career researchers, and the territorial community.
Development and Methodology
Methodology
The Festival adopts a transdisciplinary structure articulated through:
- Plenary sessions with Italian and international scholars;
- Round tables and institutional dialogues;
- Cultural and artistic events integrated into the scientific programme;
- Spring School“Pedagogy and Generative Guidance. Building Knowledge-Sharing Communities. Talent: Genius Loci of the Soul”, directed by Prof. Maria Grazia Lombardi.

- National and international guests and keynote speakers;
- Early-career researchers, PhD candidates, postdoctoral fellows;

- Institutional representatives.
