I have already had the opportunity to write a brief note – ‘The Culture of Dialogue and the Dialogue of Culture’ – on the disconcerting events that have manifested themselves in obtuse, narrow-minded, almost spiteful attacks following the decision to open the Art Biennale to everyone, allowing artistic expression to serve as a starting point for reflection and as a bridge, especially for peace. In short, this is what European and global policies have so far failed to achieve. Adopting a broad, far-reaching and appropriate perspective is the only chance that Homo Generativus has of surviving on this wretched planet, which has lost all human bearings.
