Presentation of the book “Manuale di Pedagogia Generativa e Sistema-Mondo. Epistemologie e Comunità Pensanti per l’Homo Generativus”

The volume offers a detailed reflection on the evolution of contemporary humanity and its relationship with knowledge, nature, and culture, presenting the transdisciplinary paradigm of Generative Pedagogy as a key to interpreting and transforming educational, social, and organisational processes.

Through a productive dialogue between the humanities, dynamic neuroscience, and applied physics, the manual is grounded in a complex understanding of the interconnections among biology, systems theory, and epistemology, supported by a robust philosophical and phenomenological foundation and enriched by contributions from psychiatry, psychology, anthropology, and the interconnected fields of ethics, economics, and politics.

The central assumption of the volume is that each person, in their dynamic plasticity, is a System-World, and that knowing and learning are vital experiences capable of activating processes of autopoiesis and transformation.

From this perspective, the transition of the Human becomes a cultural and natural horizon, rooted in the principles of neuroplasticity, theories of the mind, and the clinic of education.

The text engages with the classics of pedagogical thought – from Montessori to Dewey, from Vygotsky to Bruner and Freire – and with the theories of dynamic knowledge developed by Merzenich, Doidge, and Noë, overcoming reductionism and proposing an integrated vision of learning and human development.

Particular attention is given to the formation of Thinking Communities capable of critical reflection and conscious action in complex educational and social contexts.

In this context, the methodological protocol of Generative Guidance and Organisational Systems (O.Ge.S.O.) serves as a pedagogical device that demonstrates how learning, guidance, and generative thinking require an educational approach based on relationships and experience, critical reflection, and the co-construction of authentic knowledge.
